Auberja Era Garona, the high mountain hostel located in the Catalan Pyrenees
The Era Garona high mountain hostel is located in the northwest of the Catalan Pyrenees, in the Aran Valley, province of Lleida, the only one in the Pyrenees with an Atlantic climate.
The Era Garona hostel is of typical Aranese construction. We found it in the pretty town of Salardú, in the Naut Aran area. 10 km from Viella, capital of the Aran Valley, 4 km from the Baqueira-Beret ski resort and 40 km from the Aigüestortes National Park and Sant Maurici Lake.
It is located in a privileged place, within the town, with spectacular views of the Valley and close to the Garona River. It has the municipal swimming pool in front of the hostel.
It has rooms for 2 to 10 people, with their own bathroom and shared bathroom. It also has a dining room, living room with TV, function room for 100 people, board games room, multipurpose room with recreational games, workshop room, 2 classrooms, outdoor mini-basketball court, terrace and solarium, library, laundry , kitchen, heating, elevator and climbing wall.
The Era Garona hostel is designed to accommodate infant, primary and secondary schools, esplai centers and groups of friends and families, both on weekends, in summer and in the snow season, since 4 kilometers away are the Baqueira-Beret ski slopes.
